Decision Analytics Consultant

Responsibilities

• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling, data science, and statistical analysis to solve complex business problems for healthcare and life sciences clients.
• Manage end-to-end quantitative and data-focused projects, including defining scope, developing strategies, and creating detailed project plans.
• Provide technical and quantitative guidance, leadership, and mentoring to junior team members.
• Design and execute quantitative and qualitative analyses to improve client commercial effectiveness.
• Synthesize data findings and communicate results, recommendations, and strategic hypotheses to senior partners and clients.
• Serve as a key point of contact for project requests, managing both internal and external stakeholder communications.
• Support business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and preparing responses to RFPs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Analytics) and 3 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of progressive experience.
• Proven experience in end-to-end project management and leading or mentoring teams.
• Strong background in statistical modeling, algorithms, data structures, or machine learning.
• Proficiency in SQL or SAS programming.
• Experience in data mining, synthesis, and performing complex statistical analysis.
• Demonstrated client-facing experience and ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
