Debug Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead post-silicon debugging and validation for next-generation AI compute silicon and systems
• Analyze and resolve complex silicon, firmware, software, and system-level issues during bring-up and validation
• Develop structured debug methodologies and automated validation infrastructure using Python
• Drive debug of CPU, memory, interconnect, and high-speed I/O subsystems
• Analyze logs, traces, and telemetry to isolate system failures and performance issues
• Communicate technical risks and recommendations to engineering leadership

Requirements

• Strong experience in bare metal environments and SoC/platform architectures
• Expertise in post-silicon debug methodologies and digital ASIC validation
• Strong programming skills in Python and C
• Deep knowledge of scan, DFT, JTAG, and trace infrastructure
• Strong debug skills including fault tree analysis and system-level debug techniques
• Ability to collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software to uncover root causes

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of DFT flows from insertion through post-silicon validation
• Experience with PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, HBM, and peripheral interfaces
• Experience using CoreSight, Lauterbach, or similar debug infrastructure
• Understanding of mixed-signal components such as PLLs and high-speed PHYs
• Experience with Arm CPU architectures, system IP, and AMBA protocols
• Familiarity with ML applications and associated workloads
