Debt Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform daily debt system reconciliations and interpret results to identify anomalies using system reports and historic data
• Monitor, identify, and escalate issues arising from intra-day operational activity and long-term trend analysis
• Investigate and resolve debt-related customer queries and account discrepancies with strong analytical thinking
• Produce clear, concise reporting and insights on system behavior to support business decision-making
• Identify recurring patterns and propose enhancements to workflows, controls, or reporting to improve operational accuracy
• Investigate discrepancies in automated invoice reconciliation and process invoices through Ariba for payment

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• High numerical ability and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced preferred) and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational and workload management skills
• Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of issues
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with debt systems, billing platforms, or financial controls
• Prior experience in telecoms, utilities, or financial services
• Ability to generate management information (MI) and insights from large datasets
• Experience in continuous improvement or process optimization
