About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead data-driven instruction by conducting deep analysis of student work and implementing action plans to address academic needs
- Support teacher development through daily observations, real-time feedback, and high-quality professional development sessions
- Facilitate assessment cycles, including quality assurance of materials and monitoring progress against benchmarks
- Manage school-wide academic systems such as office hours, grade books, and lesson internalization
- Collaborate with the Principal to coach instructional leaders and identify high-leverage growth goals
- Model school culture and rigor techniques to ensure a joyful and high-performing academic environment
Requirements
- 3+ years of teaching experience with a proven track record of student growth and achievement
- Demonstrated experience in instructional coaching and teacher development
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong proficiency in lesson plan development and data analysis
- Excellent people management skills, including the ability to navigate difficult conversations and hold staff accountable
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with instructional leadership frameworks such as "See It-Name It-Do It" or "Leverage Leadership"
- Experience creating academic and teacher development systems
