Dean of Curriculum and Instruction

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of high-quality instruction aligned to the Arc of the Year framework
• Coach and develop 6-8 teachers through weekly 1:1s, walkthroughs, and actionable feedback
• Teach one section of a course to provide an exemplar classroom model
• Lead analysis of student academic data to identify trends and drive improvement
• Implement academic systems including gradebooks, intervention, and assessment cycles
• Partner with the Principal and Network Teaching & Learning Team on professional development
• Support the RTI-A system for student progress monitoring and intervention

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field
• Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction teacher licenses or eligibility
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
• Proven track record of improving student outcomes through data-driven leadership
• Deep knowledge of standards-based instruction and adult learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education
• Wisconsin DPI administration licensure or eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year in an instructional leadership role
