About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and engage potential acquisition or investment opportunities aligned with firm criteria
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to connect with business owners and intermediaries
- Qualify opportunities through discovery conversations to understand business fundamentals and fit
- Schedule and support introductory meetings between prospective opportunities and internal stakeholders
- Own and refine sourcing strategies, including target lists and messaging
- Maintain organized and up-to-date pipeline tracking and reporting
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, or similar outreach-heavy roles
- Demonstrated experience and results in high-volume cold calling
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with stakeholders
