Deal Lead, Special Situations (Semiconductors)

Responsibilities

• Identify and size high-value partnership opportunities in the semiconductor industry
• Map the semiconductor partnership and competitive landscape to design differentiated strategies
• Work with FDEs and applied researchers to design multi-project programs combining models, tooling, and data
• Define use cases, scope, sequencing, and success metrics for ambiguous opportunities
• Create commercial and strategic narratives including decks, demos, proposals, and deal memos
• Structure and negotiate non-standard partnerships involving revenue share, royalties, and bespoke terms
• Drive executive-level alignment on tradeoffs, resourcing, and risk

Requirements

• 10+ years in business development, partnerships, corporate development, private equity, or founding roles
• Proven track record of driving and closing complex, high-dollar deals from concept to delivery
• Meaningful experience in semiconductors or closely adjacent industries
• Ability to speak credibly with technical teams and learn specialized industry language quickly
• Experience navigating large, sophisticated buyers and aligning multiple stakeholders
• Ability to turn vague opportunities into clear commercial theses
