DCM - Investment Banking Analyst/Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the Debt Capital Markets team with data gathering, analysis, and pitch preparation
• Manage internal transaction approval processes
• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for specific transaction elements
• Work independently and with senior team members on the origination and execution of transactions
• Manage a network of internal and external derivatives providers to facilitate cross-currency basis and issuance-related hedging
• Develop professional relationships with DCM colleagues in Australian and offshore offices
• Apply financial modelling and market research to identify new business opportunities

Requirements

• University degree with strong academic results and a proven track record of success
• At least 2 years of professional experience in investment banking, accountancy, law, strategic consultancy, or a similar financial services role
• Strong financial modelling, origination, and derivative skills
• Ability to work under pressure to produce accurate financial analysis and presentation materials quickly
• Strong attention to detail, resilience, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to a career in investment banking and a team-oriented mindset
