DC Training Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead initial orientation and facilitate on-the-job training programs for new and existing warehouse associates
• Conduct one-on-one training for job-specific warehouse operations and WMS processes
• Manage Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training, including initial certification, recertification, and accident retraining
• Train associates on safety requirements and ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies
• Audit associate work and training processes to ensure consistency with SOPs and training standards
• Track training status for all associates and provide regular feedback to the Operations Manager and department leaders
• Perform general warehouse duties and ensure inbound shipments are received and registered correctly

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and departments
• Ability to strictly follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Physical capability to carry out warehouse tasks, including lifting and transporting heavy objects
• Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping
• Flexibility to work primarily 2nd or 3rd shift hours based on training needs
