DC Team Member - Outbound

Responsibilities

• Unload freight trucks, count packages/pallets, and sign Bills of Lading.
• Compare incoming items to vendor packing slips and customer return notes to ensure accuracy in size, color, and quantity.
• Accurately input received items into the computer system according to purchase orders or transfer documents.
• Put away products into appropriate stock areas and monitor dating for proper stock rotation.
• Communicate any inventory discrepancies to the appropriate departments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and understand English to interpret product descriptions, labels, and documents.
• Basic math skills to ensure accurate product quantities.
• Ability to lift and transport 30 pounds regularly and up to 50-70 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for the duration of a shift, including bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience in a warehouse or production environment.
