DC Outbound Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor transportation business processes including procurement, order management, shipment planning, and execution.
• Coordinate daily with the Transportation Team to ensure all work is scheduled and dispatched on time.
• Oversee Yard Management and troubleshoot operational issues to prevent delays.
• Perform daily housekeeping and safety audits within outbound and inbound areas.
• Manage troubleshooting for shipments that are short, delayed, or damaged.
• Handle paperwork required for FTZ requirements and manage warehouse organization for bulk locations.
• Review daily staffing needs in alignment with workload to ensure efficient productivity.
• Interface with both customers and carriers to ensure service requirements are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, inventory control, or a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in SAP, OTM, and PKMS (or similar WMS).
• Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office products.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and distribution center operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
