DC IT Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper functioning of data center infrastructure through equipment installation and maintenance
• Install, uninstall, and upgrade servers and computer hardware
• Connect power and network cables within server and network racks following specific wiring schemes
• Perform troubleshooting on technical issues related to networks and servers
• Execute curative and regular maintenance procedures to ensure service continuity
• Respond to monitoring alerts and customer tickets by performing necessary equipment interventions
• Maintain accurate asset databases, including stock, status, and action logs
• Escalate complex incident tickets to Level 2 support when necessary
• Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements within the data center

Requirements

• Post-secondary qualification in electronics, IT, or Maintenance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar technical role
• Proven experience building and maintaining computers
• Basic knowledge of computer networking
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Fluency in English
