DC Inventory Coach

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the cycle count plan to ensure compliance with required frequency and accuracy in accordance with financial policy
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the inventory team
• Manage and report policy metrics both internally and externally
• Supervise the correction of inventory discrepancies via cycle counts and adjustments to ensure accurate financial records
• Support cross-functional team assessments of unit adjustments and root cause analysis
• Lead initiatives to reduce net adjustments, gross adjustments, and inventory shrinkage

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of management experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience leading employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and access all areas of the warehouse
• Ability to work overtime with little or no notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP, DCMS, or Kronos
• Strong project management skills
• Solid understanding of automated distribution systems and departmental budgets
