DC-GPU Performance Modeling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define, build, and maintain performance models for performance projections, analysis, and architecture exploration
• Develop and execute system-level modeling strategies for ML and GPU hardware and software co-design
• Drive performance trade-off studies for new architectural features, algorithms, and system configurations
• Collaborate with architecture, design, and software teams to integrate models and analyze simulation results
• Innovate and advance modeling methodologies, tools, and infrastructure to improve accuracy and speed

Requirements

• Strong understanding of computer architecture
• Experience with performance analysis and workload characterization
• Experience with hardware/software co-design exploration
• Familiarity with ML models and software stacks
• Strong programming skills, specifically in Python or similar languages
• Academic credentials: Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience, M.S./M.Tech with 5+ years, or B.Tech with 7+ years of experience as a Performance Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with GPUs, SoCs, or ML accelerators
• Understanding of AI model distributed training and inference, model layers, and ML ops
• Knowledge of parallelization strategies
• Experience in system-level modeling and simulation
