DC Billing Clerk

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned billing tasks, including preparing load schedules and communicating load concerns to the DC management team.
• Coordinate effectively with customer service, plant management, 3rd party drivers, and internal warehouse personnel.
• Receive, review, and assign truck appointments while preparing inbound and outbound load schedules.
• Validate product inventory availability and optimize product code dates to maintain FIFO protocols.
• Prepare all necessary load documents, including BOLs and domestic/export shipping documents, in compliance with DOT and customer requirements.
• Ensure all system transactions are accurate and timely to reflect correct inventory positions, including shipments, resupply, and product loss.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three years of clerical experience directly within a warehouse, logistics, transportation, or distribution center environment.
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret complex documents like customer orders and inventory reports.
• Ability to multi-task and remain highly organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year degree in logistics or inventory management.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or SAP.
