About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility, grounds, building systems, and AutoStore systems to monitor performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators, and other equipment.
- Maintain and coordinate required testing for Fire/Life Safety systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support day-to-day facility needs, including equipment setup, minor repairs, and general upkeep of interior and exterior spaces.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ongoing services.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all building systems and equipment.
- Identify and address safety hazards while strictly following all safety policies and PPE requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance, automation, or a similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience using tools to troubleshoot, repair, and resolve maintenance issues.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills for tracking and managing work via software.
- Ability to work 3rd shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00pm – 3:30am) and overtime as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated systems, conveyors, or robotics.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving environment.
