Day Porter

Responsibilities

• Perform daily interior cleaning including emptying waste, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and mopping floors
• Maintain exterior premises such as walkways, parking lots, and outdoor furnishings
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks including painting, light bulb replacement, and simple plumbing repairs
• Monitor facility conditions and promptly notify management of spills, safety issues, or required repairs
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle chemical agents according to established protocols
• Support additional tasks such as snow removal, gardening, and assisting with tenant moves as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Reliability and ability to follow written or verbal instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in professional cleaning or custodial roles
