Day Opportunities Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day opportunities services for adults with learning disabilities or dementia across two sites
• Promote independence, choice, and involvement for all individuals supported
• Provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred support to service users
• Identify and create meaningful opportunities for individuals to engage with the local community
• Supervise staff, including participating in staff development, appraisals, and training
• Uphold and promote equality, diversity, and inclusion within the team and service

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent social care qualification
• Proven experience working within Health & Social Care services
• Experience in staff supervision and management
• Background in providing community-based support for adults
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a collaborative team
• Ability to undergo an enhanced DBS check
