About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled maintenance activities in line with VMI requirements
- Complete daily repairs and inspections on the Rail Grinder fleet
- Perform fault finding and repairs on machines to maximize availability
- Manage VMI schedules and machine repairs using FAMS
- Operate machines for maintenance purposes
- Maintain regular contact with the Control Centre
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies
Requirements
- Fully qualified Day Maintainer
- Track safety qualifications (PTS and DP)
- Excellent knowledge of machine systems
- Proficiency in IT tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Experience with Document Control Systems like Q-Pulse
- Ability to travel and lodge as required by the role
