Day Care Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide competent supervision and ensure all children are within range of vision
• Maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing, and orderly physical environment
• Prepare materials required to implement daily plans
• Assist teachers in engaging children in inquiry and play-based learning
• Implement behavior policies using a positive guidance model
• Establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with parents and guardians
• Work cooperatively with the Director, teachers, and support staff
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding children, parents, and staff

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3 years of experience working with children
