About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, update, and administer Datastage repository, Designer, and Director
- Perform installation and configuration of IBM Infosphere Information Server Datastage/Quality stage on UNIX or Windows platforms
- Manage upgrading of Datastage/Quality stage and AVI
- Configure OS Profiles and LDAP Authentication
- Create and maintain Datastage users, privileges, groups, and roles
- Migrate Datastage jobs, sequences, and parameters across Dev, UAT, and Prod environments
- Monitor environments using IBM Infosphere Information Admin Console
- Develop UNIX shell scripts for automation, including server restarts and disk space utilization
- Manage CDC installation and stop/start processes
- Execute SQL queries to audit Repository DB for ETL standard compliance
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience with IBM Infosphere Information Server
- Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting and automation
- Experience with Datastage engine and agent management
- Strong oral and written communication skills with customer-facing experience
