Data/Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operationalize data pipelines and ML systems
• Consult with client stakeholders to map existing data sources
• Collaborate with client IT teams to define technical architecture
• Build and maintain data ingestion systems for centralized analysis
• Design end-to-end data analysis pipelines to transform raw data
• Integrate analytical results into business UIs or client software
• Establish scalable, automated processes for model development and deployment
• Monitor core infrastructure and plan enhancements for growing demands
• Optimize model performance through testing and iterative refactoring
• Adhere to data protection and compliance policies

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• 1+ year of machine learning engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and Java or Scala
• Solid understanding of Linux and shell scripting
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure including serverless development
• Experience with data pipelines and workflow orchestration
• Knowledge of MLOps and deploying predictive models in production
• Proficiency with Scikit-learn, XGBoost, MXNet, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
