Dataflow Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume data ingestion pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure data movement
• Troubleshoot and enhance system performance
• Support the deployment and operation of scalable data platforms
• Design, develop, and maintain Apache NiFi dataflows
• Administer and support NiFi cluster environments

Requirements

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field with 8 years of experience (or equivalent combination of degree and experience)
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Apache NiFi dataflows
• Experience administering and supporting NiFi cluster environments
• Experience writing Python scripts for automation or operational support
• Experience with Elasticsearch for cluster management and deployment
• Experience creating Kibana visualizations and dashboards
• Proficiency working within Linux environments
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized application deployments
• Experience working with customer tools and data repositories

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Kubernetes
• Experience working with Kafka
