Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues to maximize uptime
• Deploy and maintain HPC and AI hardware, including troubleshooting and firmware updates
• Execute break/fix procedures for advanced platforms, including GPU module exchange and component-level fault isolation
• Operate and maintain Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) systems, including CDUs and coolant infrastructure
• Perform routine maintenance on liquid cooling circuits, monitoring flow rates and temperatures
• Contribute to site-level capacity management for power, space, and cooling
• Manage on-the-ground assets through their entire lifecycle within the CMDB system
• Apply ITSM frameworks for Incident, Major Incident, and Change Management
• Support 24x7x365 production environments, including on-call rotations

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• 3+ years of experience in data centre operations or HPC
• Proven hands-on experience with HPC NVIDIA GPU platforms or high-density compute systems
• Practical knowledge of Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) systems or strong willingness to train
• Experience with hardware installation, network configuration, and firmware management
• Fluency in both French and English
• Understanding of capacity management and hardware spares management
• Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of large scale private cloud deployments and capacity planning
• Qualifications in HVAC management and deployments
• Certifications in Hardware or Networking
• ITIL Foundation level qualification
• Vendor-endorsed qualifications from NVIDIA or HPE
