Datacenter Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scope definition, scheduling, and budgeting for AI and HPC optimized facilities
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and master schedules with robust change management
• Oversee high-density power distribution, advanced thermal management, and structured cabling
• Act as primary point of contact for internal engineering teams and external contractors
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to design, supply chain, and execution
• Manage vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance compliance
• Drive safety and quality standards across all construction activities
• Provide regular project status reports to executive leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive construction project management experience
• Experience with large-scale, mission-critical, or hyperscale datacenter projects
• Understanding of power systems (UPS, PDU, transformers) and cooling systems (CRAC, chillers)
• Proficiency with project management software like Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Procore
• Ability to traverse construction sites in various weather conditions
• Ability to travel as required for projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, liquid cooling, and high-wattage GPU deployments
• PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certifications
• Experience with factory prefabricated datacenter projects and modular MEP systems
• Experience managing global projects and international teams
• Knowledge of LEED, Uptime Institute Tier Standards, and hyperscale build methodologies
