Databricks Integration Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data integration solutions and ETL processes using Databricks and Apache Spark
• Write efficient SQL and Python scripts to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses and data lakes
• Monitor existing workflows, identify performance bottlenecks, and troubleshoot data quality issues
• Perform unit testing and validation to ensure data integrity throughout the data lifecycle
• Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient data solutions
• Stay updated on Databricks features such as Delta Lake and Unity Catalog

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark
• Familiarity with Delta Lake features including ACID transactions and Time Travel
