Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, clone, and patch Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x
• Manage and monitor concurrent managers, workflow services, and application logs
• Handle EBS patch analysis and conflict resolution using tools like ADOP and Opatch
• Support EBS security management, including user/role configuration and authentication integration
• Perform environment refreshes, cloning, and routine health checks
• Install, configure, and manage Oracle WebLogic Server (10.x/12c)
• Deploy and troubleshoot Java applications, Forms/Reports services, and SOA/BPM components
• Monitor and tune WebLogic performance (JVM, threads, garbage collection)
• Perform daily health checks of Oracle databases (12c/19c)
• Manage user access, space management, and basic performance tuning
• Execute backup and restore operations using RMAN

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle WebLogic Server Administration, Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x Administration, and Basic Oracle Database Administration
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
• Strong knowledge of Oracle application and database patching techniques
• Familiarity with FMW components such as Forms/Reports, OHS, and SOA
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS RDS/EC2 for Oracle
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and performance tuning tools
• Exposure to automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Experience with SSL/TLS configuration and certificate management
• Understanding of ITIL processes and ticketing systems like ServiceNow
