Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide administrator and engineer support with a focus on data optimization
• Work with large data sets, seeking Oracle efficiencies
• Optimize Oracle systems for peak performance and efficiency
• Shape how massive and unusual data types are processed, stored, and leveraged
• Develop relational and Object-Oriented databases, parsers, and loading software
• Create ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros to manipulate data

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Database Engineer in similar programs
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5 years of DE experience in lieu of degree)
• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL
