Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain new technical solutions to support Department of Defense projects
• Enhance existing applications by integrating new technology components and capabilities
• Assist customers in evaluating new technologies relative to current and future needs
• Perform database administration, engineering, and design in support of system engineering and software development

Requirements

• 10+ years of related professional experience
• 5+ years of experience as a DBA/DBE performing database administration, engineering, or design
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline
• Active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph clearance
• US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, AWS Aurora, RDS, or ArcGIS
• Proficiency with RESTful web services
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with Docker, SharePoint, Power BI, Tableau, or the Atlassian suite
• Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with cloud-based platforms
