Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain new technical solutions to support Department of Defense programs
• Enhance existing applications by integrating new technology components and capabilities
• Assist customers in evaluating and understanding new technologies relative to current and future needs
• Provide specialized engineering services, planning, and design reviews

Requirements

• 10+ years of related professional experience
• 5+ years of experience as a DBA/DBE performing database administration, engineering, or design
• Bachelor’s degree in system engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline
• US Citizenship is required
• Active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph clearance is required
• Proficiency with technologies such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, AWS Aurora, RDS, or ArcGIS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java, Javascript, HTML/CSS, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Power BI, Tableau, or Docker
• Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, etc.) and cloud-based platforms
• Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments
