Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate database environments for various games and services (installation, deployment, monitoring, logging, etc.)
• Provide technical support for database-related tasks including data modeling and performance tuning
• Establish and execute database security policies and procedures (e.g., personal information protection)
• Research and develop various database environments and accumulate technical knowledge

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience operating NoSQL environments (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• 1+ years of experience using Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in database schema design and optimization for high-traffic, large-scale environments
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE methodologies
• Understanding of game development processes and culture
• Ability to travel overseas

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding and operational experience with AWS DynamoDB
• Understanding of RDB and experience operating at least one type of RDB
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Python)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack)
• Experience in large-scale data processing, management, and data migration tools
