About the role
Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle database systems
- Designing and implementing database schemas and monitoring database health
- Performing routine backups and recovery operations
- Troubleshooting database issues and managing user access and permissions
- Providing full lifecycle systems and software engineering support
- Conducting technical, architectural, and process assessments
- Supporting security evaluations such as the STIG process
- Developing and reviewing program documentation and test plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in support of the DoD
- Experience with Ansible playbooks and automation
- Experience supporting Oracle Database changes including data, schema, triggers, and tables
- Automation coding using Python
- Experience supporting Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Knowledge of DoD and AF acquisition processes and the Systems Engineering "V" Model
- Security+ or Security+ CE certification
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance
