Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable databases
• Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers
• Monitor and improve database performance through indexing and tuning
• Ensure data integrity, security, backup, and recovery processes
• Perform data migration with minimal downtime and data loss
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and support application teams
• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business analysts
• Maintain accurate database documentation and follow best practices

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in database development or engineering
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems
• Solid understanding of database design principles and performance optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fintech, financial services, or share market knowledge is a plus
• Relevant SQL or database certifications are an advantage
