Database Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to ensure high performance and scalability
• Create and maintain ETL processes and data migration solutions
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
• Support application development teams with database design and implementation
• Ensure data integrity, security, availability, and compliance with banking standards
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Monitor database health, capacity planning, and performance metrics
• Participate in database upgrades, patching, and environment migrations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in database development and administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database programming concepts
• Experience in database performance tuning and optimization
• Knowledge of database security, backup, recovery, and high availability solutions
• Experience within the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred
