Database Developer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with application teams to deliver scalable, cloud-ready database solutions for high-volume transactional workloads.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas and data models for enterprise-scale systems.
• Use AI-powered development tools to enhance SQL development, refactoring, and tuning.
• Drive advanced performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization using traditional and AI-augmented insights.
• Modernize database platforms to improve reliability, maintainability, and AI readiness.
• Participate in the full SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, and operations support.
• Work with version control tools such as SVN and GitHub.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in database development.
• Hands-on expertise in PL/SQL and T-SQL.
• Strong understanding of database internals, query plans, indexing strategies, and schema design.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve code quality.
• Experience supporting large datasets and high-performance transactional systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to vector databases, RAG architectures, or LLM-augmented workflows.
• Experience with prompt engineering for AI-generated SQL or schema design.
• Exposure to Python or data science.
• Certifications in Oracle, SQL Server, cloud platforms, or AI/ML technologies.
