Database Design Lead

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical study protocols into high-quality, fit-for-purpose database designs and structures using platforms like Vault CDMS and RAVE
• Lead end-to-end database builds, including CRF/form design, edit checks, rules, and system integrations
• Drive EDC go-lives with a focus on proactive planning and cross-functional alignment to prevent delays
• Design efficient, value-driven edit checks to protect data quality while reducing site burden
• Support study teams and core Data Management roles to ensure databases meet all team and library requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve database design and integration issues to ensure rapid resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 8-15 years of clinical execution experience
• Experience in life sciences or a medically related field
• Biopharmaceutical clinical research experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of work experience in life sciences, including 3 years of biopharmaceutical clinical research experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO company
• Experience engaging and working across global clinical trial teams in multiple geographies
• Experience in management and oversight of external vendors such as CROs, central labs, and imaging vendors
