Database/Data Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Administer and support databases and shared datasets that serve as authoritative sources for reporting and analytics.
• Design, implement, and maintain data models that support dashboards, applications, and performance management tools.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to consolidate data from multiple systems of record, ensuring consistency and alignment with data standards.
• Implement and monitor data quality checks, validation routines, and reconciliation processes to safeguard data integrity.
• Maintain documentation for data structures, data flows, and transformation logic.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to optimize datasets for reporting, analytics, and Power Platform solutions.
• Support database performance tuning, security configurations, and access management.
• Troubleshoot data issues, resolve discrepancies, and investigate data anomalies across systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database administration, data engineering, or data management roles.
• Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling techniques, and data integration practices.
• Proficiency with SQL and ETL tools or frameworks used for data consolidation and transformation.
• Experience supporting enterprise datasets used for dashboards, analytics, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience working with data from complex operational or financial systems (e.g., asset management, ERP, or financial management systems).
