Database Analyst 4

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, design, implement, maintain, and control organizational databases
• Provide guidance to database users and client groups on tactical and strategic solutions
• Perform server-class database activities including data modeling, mapping, and programming to automate environments
• Monitor performance, tune databases, and assist with capacity planning
• Execute installations, upgrades, migrations, and implement security controls
• Lead and mentor less experienced database analysts
• Support the Store Vision Teller team on mission-critical applications
• Partner with Business Analysts and Developers on new and existing projects
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of database design and administration experience
• Proficiency with Linux environments
• Experience with shell scripting, awk, perl, or python
• Experience with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
• Ability to work with Empress Database (or similar SQL-based systems)
