Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer Oracle Database (21c) within Linux environments.
• Manage database instances, tablespaces, schemas, and user privileges.
• Implement high availability and scalability using Oracle RAC.
• Perform deep performance tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and SQL Tuning Advisor.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, statistics, and execution plans.
• Implement data protection via Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Native Network Encryption (NNE).
• Develop automation scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for database operations (DB DevOps).
• Manage database migrations, version upgrades, and security patching (PSU/CPU).
• Support development teams with data model design and PL/SQL code reviews.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in database administration or similar DevOps roles.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database (21c) administration on Linux.
• Proven experience with Oracle RAC for high availability.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development (procedures, functions, packages, triggers).
• Experience with Shell scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage complex database projects.
