Database Administrator Senior

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, architectural design, governance, and advanced optimization of traditional and multicloud data platforms.
• Develop and implement advanced strategies for high availability, disaster recovery (DRP), and data replication in critical hybrid environments.
• Apply DevSecOps methodologies to automate data infrastructure deployment, optimizing costs and performance across group clouds.
• Design global alerting matrices, error detection systems, and automated incident responses to mitigate impact on banking services.
• Supervise best practices for design and consumption within the data ecosystem to ensure scalable storage architecture and corporate governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems, Computing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in senior data administration and architecture roles.
• Expertise in multicloud architecture, specifically AWS (agile architectures) and Microsoft Azure (core and regulated banking infrastructure).
• Advanced knowledge of large-scale database tuning, complex data pipeline design, and critical incident management.
• Experience with data engineering tools and the design of real-time observability and anomaly detection systems.
• Advanced English proficiency (both conversational and technical).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) in Mexico City or Monterrey.

Preferred Qualifications

• Official certifications in AWS, Azure, or specialized data technologies.
