Responsibilities
- Administer SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Azure Cosmos DB in production environments
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, continuity, backups/restores, and database hardening
- Perform proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and incident resolution
- Manage access controls, auditing, and security governance
- Support releases, changes, and modernization initiatives within Agile teams
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise DBA experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB
- Expertise in HA/DR, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure architectures, security, and governance
- Experience with automation and scripting for operational efficiency
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices in continuous operations environments
- Ability to work under pressure with a focus on quality and results
