Data Visualization Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI
• Create interactive reports to support leadership decision-making
• Integrate visualization tools with cloud-based data sources and SQL
• Design user-friendly interfaces for complex datasets
• Collaborate with analysts to translate data insights into visual stories
• Maintain and update visualization tools for ongoing projects
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards
• Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability

Requirements

• Active and maintained Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data visualization and BI tools
• Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI
• Experience connecting dashboards to SQL and cloud data sources

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Tableau or Power BI
• Strong understanding of visualization best practices and user experience design
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or geospatial visualization tools
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R
• Experience supporting DoD or Air Force analytics projects
