Data Validator Junior

Responsibilities

• Validate, calculate, and report laboratory results for EHS matrix samples in the chemical laboratory
• Perform data calculation processes for gas chromatography using Agilent MSD Chemstation, Agilent Masshunter, and Agilent Openlab software
• Execute data processing functions including laboratory data calculations, integrations, quality controls, and LIMS entries
• Ensure compliance with ISO17025 standards and SGS laboratory procedures
• Notify management of operational issues, personnel matters affecting performance, or non-compliance with response requirements
• Support operational improvement activities focused on quality, efficiency, and technical improvement
• Maintain a clean and presentable GBS workspace

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science (preferably Chemistry) or related field
• Intermediate-advanced English proficiency (B2 or C1 level)
• Minimum of one year of laboratory experience
• Minimum of 6 months of operational experience in HPLC, GC, and/or GC-MS with formal training
• Demonstrated experience with data quality and operational excellence
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Knowledge of analytical instrumentation, specifically chromatography and mass spectrometry

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with LIMS
• Experience with Chemstation or Mass Hunter software
