Data Transfer Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and mobilize the data transfer development team to meet quality and performance goals
• Plan and distribute workload based on deployment priorities and client timelines
• Act as a technical mentor for junior and intermediate developers
• Oversee the architecture of migration scripts and ETL engines to ensure reliability and performance
• Handle the analysis and execution of the most complex or critical data migrations
• Implement and enforce quality standards including code reviews, unit testing, and data integrity validation
• Collaborate with project managers and implementation specialists to manage client expectations
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to optimize transfer processing times

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5 to 7 years of experience in development with a focus on ETL or databases
• Advanced mastery of SQL (stored procedures, query optimization, complex data analysis)
• Solid knowledge of C# and the .NET environment
• Deep understanding of relational databases
• Experience in team management, project coordination, or technical mentoring
• Bilingualism in French and English (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing technical teams or coordinating complex data integration projects
