Data Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks in cloud environments using Azure Cloud services
• Lead cloud architecture and ETL/ELT design, overseeing development and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and onshore stakeholders to understand business goals and deliver workstreams
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to ensure high-quality delivery and professional growth
• Participate in the full solution delivery life cycle, including analysis, design, testing, and production support

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT industry experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure services including Databricks, ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Azure SQL DB
• Strong proficiency in Spark/PySpark and programming languages such as Python or Scala
• Proven expertise in data modeling techniques and data warehousing best practices
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog and DevOps/CI/CD deployment workflows
• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• Experience working within an Agile-based delivery methodology

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik
• Knowledge of NoSQL and big data processing for large-scale analytical pipelines
