About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and transformations in Snowflake
- Implement Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Cloning, Time Travel, and Materialized Views
- Design and maintain data models such as star schema, snowflake schema, and fact/dimension tables
- Write Python scripts for automation, transformations, and CI/CD integration
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps or Git
Requirements
- 8 years of relevant Data Engineering experience
- Strong Snowflake Development expertise
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory pipeline design and orchestration
- Advanced SQL development skills
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering
- Knowledge of data modelling techniques
- Mandatory Snowflake certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Power BI or other visualization tools
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
