Data Specialist Jr.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of algorithms and processes to automate the lifecycle of machine learning and AI models.
• Participate in the design and maintenance of pipelines to operationalize analytical models.
• Collaborate on the monitoring and documentation of analytical model performance.
• Assist in implementing workflows that allow for the retraining of analytical models in production.
• Work alongside data scientists and specialists to automate models and integrate them into business processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, process automation, or analytical solution development.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, Azure, or AWS (experience with BigQuery and Vertex AI is a plus).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Strong programming skills in Python, including knowledge of object-oriented programming and integration testing.
• Experience with cloud data engineering and migrating on-premise processes to the cloud.
• Basic knowledge of developing Machine Learning models and data cleaning/validation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Engineering or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Experience with orchestration and automation tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache Beam, or Cloud Functions.
