Data Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions from concept to production
• Build dashboards and analytical applications for investment and business stakeholders
• Develop and manage scalable data pipelines and lightweight workflows
• Support and administer cloud data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, and Sigma Computing
• Partner with business teams to translate requirements into technical implementations
• Prototype and evaluate AI-enabled workflows, agents, and automation techniques
• Apply data governance standards including cataloging and metadata management
• Monitor platform performance and optimize data ecosystem reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
• 2–5 years of experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and pipeline development
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS-based infrastructure
• Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
• Proficiency with BI platforms like Sigma Computing or Dash Enterprise
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Boston (2-3 days onsite per week)
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, or financial services
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and modern software engineering practices
