About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review and triage information security alerts to determine potential risk to the organization
  • Conduct analysis of user activity, system events, and security telemetry to assess risk
  • Correlate alerts across multiple security tools and data sources to validate findings
  • Document analysis results and maintain clear records of outcomes
  • Escalate confirmed or high-risk findings to appropriate security or incident response teams
  • Collaborate with security engineering and business stakeholders to gather context during analysis
  • Identify patterns or recurring alert types that may indicate control gaps or emerging risks
  • Assist in refining triage procedures, playbooks, and alert handling processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of cloud and on-premise data security controls
  • Experience analyzing events and correlating disparate data to understand security concerns
  • Basic understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance concepts
  • Familiarity with tools such as DLP, SIEM, CASB, or DSPM
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • AWS Security Specialty
