Responsibilities

• Develop frameworks to synthesize complex operational data to inform product and company strategy
• Identify and refine key performance metrics for fleet operations
• Create and apply novel experimental methodologies to enhance signal-to-noise ratio and feedback loops
• Combine experimental methods with causal inference techniques to optimize operational strategies
• Drive improvements across the on-road testing lifecycle through data-driven insights

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Science role focusing on operations research or process optimization
• Proficiency in SQL for building large datasets and production-level transformation pipelines
• Experience designing and evaluating real-world experiments such as A/B testing
• Solid understanding of statistical principles, hypothesis testing, and distributions
• Proficiency in Python or R and relevant packages like pandas, sklearn, or statsmodels
• Proven track record of driving operational improvements and influencing strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with machine learning and optimization techniques like PyTorch or scikit-learn
• Familiarity with causal inference, econometrics, or Bayesian methods
• Experience with large datasets and distributed computing such as Spark or Hadoop
• Experience in a fast-paced tech or startup environment
